"Indeed," Death allowed Angelo the final words on the matter, as well as the moment of closeness. Angelo wanted that moment and he was taking it - and as easy it would have been for Death to read Angelo's soul and give him what he wanted, sometimes it was better to allow the Memory Keeper a moment of control.
